CHAPTER 22
He got the page at 3:30 in the morning, which was lousy, because he had just met the girl lying beside him. A few hours ago he walked into a bar where he had gone to shake some of his tensions off. He was minding his own business when this blonde vixen walked up to him and started making the move on him. Chris Boxwell was one of those guys etched out of stone like some Greek sculptor had just finished carving him. Tension was what he had for breakfast, lunch and dinner as a Delta Force operative. He came to the bar to chase the tensions away.
After the initial get to know you talk, which he carefully censored because of the nature of his work, he asked her if she would like to go for a walk. But she had other things on her mind, because they didnât get far when she grabbed him and planted a lip lock on him. He asked if she would like to go back to his place, which she acquiesced to, knowing full well what this was leading to.
It was the best sex he had ever had, because she was a responsive lover, she liked it rough and she was a beautiful woman with a personality that matched his style perfectly. Her temper was a little on the bellicose side, but that was exactly what he wanted in his women. Without a good temper it was like screwing a dead fish, so this chick was right up his alley.
On the third go round, she asked to be tied to the bed, because she loved it when the man was in control. Chris thought about that for a few seconds, because if he wasnât careful it might look like it was forcible sex and that could end him up in a place he didnât want to be. But he was very good at tying people up so he followed her instructions and the sex went over the top with her screaming at the top of her lungs at the moment of orgasm.
Receiving the page, Chris Boxwell was now in a tight place, but he was a specialist in dealing with tight places. The girl was a little more than drunk and she had slept through the pager beeps. What was he going to do with her? The page was summoning him to the base because they had a mission.
But he couldnât leave her in his apartment, too many weapons and other sensitive material, and he didnât want to kick her out in the street either. So he decided to use the one thing that would accomplish his goals, her temper. He was also trying to keep her on his radar after this mission. Thatâs when it came to him, an illness. So he stuck his finger down his throat as far as it could go. And even though his stomach was empty with the exception of a few beers, that beer along with bile and stomach acid made for quite the impression.
